Nameless Whorror is First Confirmed Guest of 2015 Trans* Awareness in Sports Week

Emails have started to go out to invite people as content contributors and interviewees for 2015’s Second Annual Trans* Awareness in Sports Week and I’m extremely excited to announce Melanie Pasztor, aka Nameless Whorror (#202), of Montreal Roller Derby as the first confirmed interviewee!

Nameless has a ton of experience on the flat track having played with Vagine Regime at the 2012 4th Annual Clam Slam and 2010 2nd Annual Clam Slam as well as with the Clam Diggers at the 2014 6th Annual Clam Slam and 2011 3rd Annual Clam Slam, all WorldPride (“an international celebration incorporating activism, education, and the history and culture of global LGBTQ communities that highlights Canada’s continued progress in human rights”) affiliated events. She has also competed with Montreal Roller derby at the 2010 WFTDA East Region Playoffs, with New Skids on the Block at Quad City Chaos 2011 and 2010, with La Racaille at Beast of the East 2012 and Filles Du Roi at Beast of the East 2008 and 2013. And that’s just naming a few!

Nameless was also one of the individuals responsible for writing Montreal Roller Derby’s Gender Policy. You can start getting to know her better by reading more about her work on the policy, along with her coming out story, on her personal blog.

Excited to have you on board, Nameless!
